Create new Day Action List

What is it?
A method of creating a Day Action List. A Day Action List is used to define the actions you need to execute for that specific day. The actions can be planned in advance, such as TM Production Task, or ad hoc items added when and as needed.

What happens if clicked?
The New Day Action List window appears. From this window you can organize your actions for a specific day.
The window will include a list of all currently assigned TM items as well uncompleted Action List Items.
A Day Action List will automatically suggest all current TM Items assigned to the user for the day of the Action List, in addition to all Command and Production Task that are past due or are Tagged. The user can then manually add ad hoc Production Items, such as needed phone calls, administrative tasks, etc.

What happens if clicked?
The Action List window will open, displaying the actions you have scheduled for the date you select in the calendar.

Send and Receive e-mails

What is it?

The Send and Receive e-mails feature is an option allowing you to force a Send/Receive routine. By default TimeMaker pushes the data – performing an immediate Send/Receive, immediately routing your e-mails to TimeMaker without waiting for the server for some period of time (unlike Outlook). This option can be switched off, allowing you to control when TimeMaker will send e-mails and when TimeMaker will receive e-mails.

What happens if clicked?

The e-mails in the TimeMaker and Outlook Outboxes will be sent and all TimeMaker and Outlook e-mails will be received.

Note: You can configure the system to perform automatic Send or Receive or manual Send or Receive.

Your Personal Information

What is it?

Your Personal Information is actually a link to your Contact data at the TimeMaker Contacts Module. From this screen you will be able to view or change your information. This screen allows you to add/edit your personal information which is displayed in TimeMaker.

What happens if clicked?

Your personal information card appears, in which you can view or edit your personal information.

 

Filtering Office

What is it?

The Filtering Office is an advanced tool used to define the routing of emails to Folders. There are 4 types of routing:

1) Automatic routing of outgoing e-mails based on User Defined Rules,
2) Automatic routing of incoming e-mails based on User Defined Rules,
3) Close communication rules – Rules allowing you to quickly file e-mails to
one or more Folders by a click of a button, and
4) Manual filtering used for re-filtering or applying the defined filters to a
Folders based on the Routing Rules.

What happens if clicked?

From the Filtering Office you can define and manage rules in regard to the routing of incoming, outgoing and completed e-mails and TimeMaker Message .

TMmail Account

What happens if clicked?

The TMmail Account Manager window will appear.

In this window you can see:
1. The current TimeMaker e-mails you have and their Associated Emails.

2. The list of your Executive Assistants.

From the side panel you can:
1. Create a TimeMaker email account,

2. Create Associations between your TM e-mail account and your existing e-mail accounts,

3. Add Executive Assistants,

4. Create an “Out of Office” message,

5. Establish a forwarding rule for incoming e-mails to various e-mail accounts or SMS,

6. Remove e-mail Associations as well as Executive Assistant accounts,

7. Access the Filtering Office,

8. Access the Junk Mail configuration,

9. Access your personal Contact information,

10. Access the TimeMaker system configuration,

11. View the overall size of all of your e-mails.
